Health promotion

The Cancer Society Nepal is the only agency dedicated to the prevention of cancer. Cancer Society Nepal works with other groups to help achieve a reduction in the incidence of cancer through encouraging healthier lifestyles. Our health promotion activity focuses on sun exposure, nutrition and activity and cigarette smoking.

Research

The Cancer Society Nepal is a major funder of cancer research in Nepal. Cancer Society Nepal plays its part by contributing a significant part of its budget each year towards these nationally-allocated funds.

Advocacy

The Cancer Society Nepal undertakes advocacy nationally in a range of areas, while locally we undertake advocacy on behalf of individual cancer patients and their families.
